Its pretty touching. Even if the ages are different I think most people can relate. When I have a seminar I open with that song because to me it speaks of the legacy we leave our children. It's not just about what we leave in terms of love and wisdom even though thats the major part. I believe our finances leave a legacy too as they show our kids the prudent, diligent path we've tried to take for them. It doesn't always work out that way but they know we tried out of true love for them as the most important people in our lives. When my divorced happened it left me with questions about whether I could ever do enough to make up for my son is now going to experience a broken home. Damn - that wasn't part of the legacy I wanted to leave for him
