I seldom watch movies, but we had one of those free STARZ weekends a couple of weeks ago, so I taped a couple. Yesterday I watched Running WIth Scissors. I had read the book, and enjoyed it, and the cast was excellent. (Jill Clayburgh, Annette Bening, Gryneth Paltrow, Alec Baldwin, Joseph Fiennes, Brian Cross) DO NOT WASTE TIME ON THIS MOVIE! It was DREADFUL! Perfectly TERRIBLE. The book did NOT translate at all. It was boring, overlong, tedious, stupid, undeveloped, like a bad sitcom that wasn't funny. Read the book instead.
