i was thinking exactly the same thing, when i executed a bunch of trades in various accounts, full service as well as on-line

one trade was done exactly 30 secs before canadian market shut down, at 4:59:30am HK time, while the broker wanted to know if I want to set alimit on the illiquid iron mine share, which I did
