In the case of Robertson endorsing Julie, it's pretty obvious that Julie's life is an example of what Robertson preaches against. Other guys are certainly closer to Robertson on abortion and gays, key platforms of the religious right.

You say "patriotism" is the reason Robertson is endorsing Julie over the religious right agenda? I say bunk. I guess we have to agree to disagree.

It's been explicitly stated more than once by the "enlightened" liberals on this thread.

The fact that I'm supporting Rudy despite his pro-choice stance, his marital problems, and his "OMG cross-dressing" makes me "inscrutable" to them.
