"BTW people getting more conservative as they age........that's another myth started by the right." I think that's based on people owning more and having more to protect as they get older. In the current environment, it's the policies and ideologies of the right that seem to threaten all that. The drunken sailor spending, dumbass quagmire wars, ridiculous hated President - Americans want AMERICA BACK. That's partly true but when I was in my early twenties, I was very conservative. Its only after watching conservative policies play out over the years, that I have changed my positioning. Liberals don't have all the answers but at least they are a head of the curve.
