One of the main reasons I don't go to bel sq much is Bellevue city tax. It is about 1% lower to go to Alderwood and they are both the same distance apart from me. Bel Sq if fun at Christmas time or if I really feel like indulging myself, but Alderwood has almost all of the same stores. I also go to bel sq if I am looking for something special since they have such specialty stores like the ones you mention. My hubby cannot stand to go shopping, but i make him go once in awhile anyway. I just might go today. Looking for a necklace anyway. I'm sure I'd find something unique at bel sq.
