Comjelly's comment is actually inaccurate. It was not Pat Robertson, but Jerry Fallwell who was attacked about the statements about 9/11. Reading the transcript, I can see the angle from which they were talking about, and I don't see it as mean. Here is the money quote by Fallwell: "What we saw on Tuesday, as terrible as it is, could be miniscule if, in fact, God continues to lift the curtain and allow the enemies of America to give us probably what we deserve." So what he is talking about is not "retribution" (cj's word) by God, but God lifting his protective curtain of America - that America is not worthy of God's protection any more because of rampant sin being committed. (I hope I got that right). You know what........its so disturbed I don't even want to discuss it with someone who actually believes what those idiots claim. Frankly, your amending of his statements is as offensive to me as what CJ said they were.
