Even those who live in the real world have to believe something and practice some philosophy, even if they don't know what it is or where it came from...remember Alexis de Toqueville remarking that in America, Descartes was the least studied but the most followed philosopher?

Millions of people who think they are just trying to be 'fair-minded' are unwittingly carrying around the self-contradictions of multiculuralism. One reason so many young people find any judgments difficult. Unless it's about Bush. He's absolutely fair game, no hindrance there.
