If it ever changes back, or if some new problematic rule gets instituted is it possible for you to remove yourself from the Medicare roles?

Don't know but I doubt it. I'll bet no one ever tried. I don't think my perspective is the norm. <g>

If I wanted out, I'd probably just go to a doctor who didn't know me and simply not claim membership. If I don't tell him I'm covered, he wouldn't know so I don't see how he could be considered to have committed a criminal act. Of course, the reversal in the law could anticipate that by requiring me to disclose.
