Turns out it was the Anthem, but Obama is still busted.

During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. -- United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171

It's obviously a matter of choice whether you place your hand on your heart when the National Anthem is being played. I know I always place my hand on my heart when it's being played/sung at places like baseball games, football games. And so do most people around me. Obama is perfectly within his rights not to do so.

You got it right for yourself and wrong for Obama.
