Yeah, it's going to take awhile to scale up. I am putting down 5K for the Tesla and hopefully will take delivery sometime in 2009. The down used to be $25K and they allow deposit return 90 days before delivery. When gas goes to the moon in the next few years and theres lines of cars waiting for gas I'll just cruise by. Fortunately I live in the hydro power capitol of the US here in Seattle. Power cost should be about 1.25 cents per mile.. A far cry from my 12 cents per mile I'm paying now. Anyway my primary computer crashed yesterday as all the ____ was hitting the fan and finally got back online an hour ago. I just love Microsoft... Oh well... I was thinking of buying a new Mac (my first) but my longtime Apple guru said "stay away from the new operating system, it's loaded with bugs".
