Maybe you had better read all of the articles about the war, not just the ones in your lefty rags. From the post, a somewhat left of center rag there are a number of optimistic articles.

The articles are mostly about reduction of violence, troop withdrawals, and prisoner release. Bush is likely to anounce a massive withdrawal of troops in a few months.
