No problem....we disagree and move on..everything you described I can easily counter that will make the accelerating trends even worse for the purchasing power of your dollar..

One thing never mentioned anywhere is as the tight fisted greatest generation from the great depression fades into the sunset they have been replaced by multiple generations from 7 to 70 that spend like drunken sailors unleashing dormant home equity and cash that sat idle with the last generation that has any recollection of real bad times.

I can live with whatever comes..but deflation and depression would be quite boring..what do I do? lock in all the cash in 5 year CD's making sure I'm below the $100k limit and just wait, travel to places I still haven't been to and watch the whole world around me to implode till 1939 redux and my dollars are worth the mint in Fort Knox? I love to invest and do deals not just sit around trading stocks..just waiting and watching for the housing implosion the past 2+ years is already a long time..
