Lets book mark your post and see how you feel about prices a year from now -- it should be interesting. Where I am driving we expect $4 gas by Christmas -- due in large part to those rice eating people now owning cars and buying gas for them in competition with us and our desire to drive cars burning the same gas. As for people working for a handful of rice, perhaps a few weeks on the road in places like Shanghai and Singapore and Tokyo and Bangalore would give you another way to look at things. Lets keep in touch and recalibrate our answers this time next year. Good luck.
