Certainly agree that the war debt doesn't help, but it is really not as big a part of the budget deficit problem as some think. The fact is plain and simple, the powers that be can't stop spending. If they didn't spend it on the war, they would waste it another way, I would say they spend money like a drunken sailor, but the difference is that unlike our government a drunken sailor spends his own money and gets what he paid for.
