And then there is the clerk in the local Java house where you have just ordered a muffin or a scone to go with that morning kaffee. The clerk carefully puts on those latex gloves, selects your muffin or scone and neatly places it in a sack. He then removes the gloves, gives you the pastry and takes your cash to complete the transaction.

Once removed, the gloves tend to become 'inside out'.

The next customer orders a pastry product and the gloves are now put on again, only this time they are inside out.

I rarely use drive throughs. The few that I've used have a different cashier and the person who hands you the food is usually too busy to do any preparation.

My wife has worked in food service. ONe time somebody came to work with scabies. The boss wouldn't send him home, so my wife quit.
