IMHO anyone who CLAIMS to have a clue in this market and is a private individual investor truly has no clue at all. With all the huge funds today some working purely off computer models with lighting speed for trades the market is jerked all over the damn place often for no rhyme or reason. As a private investor I feel all we can do is try and find a good company with good management, good product and good future buy and HANG ON. I am getting to the point where I ignore the daily fluctuations of stocks. jdn

I said "close to nil". Who would said risk = nil? That would be clueless.

I'm still sitting on a 70% return on my Cisco stock in less than 3 years time. That far exceeds my original goal of 10% per year for the period from 2005-2010. Others would be lucky to be as "clueless".
