This is where I tend to disagree with the left.

To me it's obvious that some capitalists use government and its institutions to bilk the public (here and abroad). But I don't define that process as capitalism. Once government is part of the equation, we no longer have free markets.

Furthermore, if it is obvious that capitalists are willing to use government and its institutions to bilk the public, I can't for the life of me understand why any rational person would think that the solution to our problems is to expand the government and give those same capitalists another avenue to distort markets and bilk the public.
