That short a period of time? I thought the shelf life was six months...guess I was wrong.

Is that really true?!? Good grief, I have spices in my pantry that have been there 15+ years. Of course, since I never use them I have no idea if they have any taste left or not. But, I have pepper, garlic powder and a few others that I do use occasionally and they've been there for a year, maybe more, and as far as I can tell, they still have flavor.

I wonder it that might be true only for a few of these things.
