a) if the loonie continues to rise.. domestically operating resource companies continue to incur greater relative expenses.. for manpower and taxes.. so profits are not windfall profits anymore..

b) if it begins to fall, say goes back to .95-.96 ish.. I think that is a sweet spot.. We still benefit as consumers from a strong currency yet we have a competitive advantage on a straight currency basis (It's more complicated than that but close enough I think)

Outside the box is simply considering US investments now.. and not thinking in terms of the greenback is going to say 50% of the loonie...
