Since he knows that I expect a whole bunch of folks have plans for just such a deal. If he thinks we are going to lose 10K sailors and an entire carrier group I think he was likely retired for mental reasons. Stating with a certainty that we are going to lose an entire carrier group is just asinine IMO.

WERE GONNA GET SMOKED…WE”ll LOSE at least 1 Carrier battle group and at least 5-10,000 sailors at sea.

The guy who wrote the email wouldn't be named Beauchamps would it?...<g> This story smells like it has distinct Democrat origins.

The Pentagon is going to be horrified to learn that one of the most advanced missile ships in the world (Aegis) that cost us billions of dollars to develop is completely ineffective against a missile attack.....one of the main things it was created for.....what are the odds.

I don't believe that all our technology will work as described in a Tom Clancy novel....but to say the email author is pessimistic is a classic understatement.

...UNLESS we preemptively hit the Coastal Cruise Missile Defense sites all along the 600 mile coast line….

One would think if we attacked them, this would be job one.

Wouldn't our biggest vulnerability be if they attacked us first (God forbid)? Course that would give us a casus belli (is that the right phrase?) to take care of the Iranian regime.
