You are speaking to the choir on this one. Ed and Nadine want to refight vietnam. I think your analysis is spot on. And i agree, removing american troops in orderly fashion should start soon. Hopefully the iraqis will have a better future than we now expect. From a purely selfish US pov, i want american forces ready, willing and able to go back to their orignial role of protecting our nation from real threats like a nuke iran might pose. With the US out, iran will pause in its recklessness as US will have options. I am for diplomacy but without a big stick the bad guys run roughshod over us, from ahmadijad to chavez.
