Not very long, but that's not what she asked for, and frankly, there are now lots and lots of people on the streets of Manhattan even if I could feed her (and I do give money out to panhandlers pretty often), I can't feed all of them. We need to fix the system. >Your solution (so YOU won't feel guilty) is to raise taxes where that $10 you could have directly given to the person who needed it would turn into $2 (best case) after the cost of administration and distribution is deducted. Where do you get that for the best case scenario? -Z
