Yes. You know what this reminds of? The asian contagion that occurred in '97-'98. Honestly, I think this is a HUGE buying opportunity for anyone with spare cash or for folks who have automatic deductions from their paychecks every two weeks going into their diversified portfolio (that's me). We're buying everything at a fire sale now and when the economy recovers in the latter half of 2008 or early 2009, these buys are going to look cheap. That takes longer term thinking than your average investor has, though.
