I'm not out of touch, you've lost perspective. The mild to at most moderate shifts of the economic cycle are not cases of greatly increasing poverty, and in any case we haven't started a downturn on this cycle yet.

Poverty and now crime have been increasing all through this economic 'expansion' started under Bush. Why? Because its a faux expansion.....that should tell you something but you won't let it.
