Wayne, you said Bush did not appoint Greenspan when he did so. That is not a technical point. That is a point of fact and part of the reason he is to blame for the Bush Peso.

Rubin wasn't perfect. Nobody, and certainly no Treasury Secretary is. He is simply the best we ever had at the job, despite doing some things I dislike, too.

If we'd followed Mises, we'd still be in The Great Depression. Those of us who survived at all. He makes some good points, but his cures tend to kill the patient.
