That's the problem. I think that subprime issue, and prime
issue could lead to a collapse of at least 1/2 of all US
financial institutions in the US in the coming 2 years,
as rates reset. E-trade now will go under, so could Citi
and Merrill. Stock indexes will be managed by the PPT, but the
dollar could drop in half. No clue what stocks will do this
week, but a serious BK is brewing in the financial system,
and the whole financial system is now at risk. You could
bet long or short, but you don't know if your broker will close
doors tomorrow and exactly how much you will lose in that
process -ng- I think the stock market would catch up with
it if it was free. I'm not sure it is. The rallies are way
too regular, although the 2 p.m. rally has been overrun by
the bear herds a few times lately.
