Ted Kennedy is symbolic of a whole generation of folks who abused alcohol and caused civilian deaths along the way thru hit and run, alcohol caused accidents, etc. Not everyone has the capablity to dive into a river and save someone who probably was already dead. Odds are no one else could have saved her. It wasnt until well after this event that MADD came into being and folks started to go to jail for this irrespnsiblity. You said it. Teddy has to live with this every day of his life. Why do we have to rehash this every year. If TK was a conservative you'd be preaching to us about forgiveness. Now lets give that senator bathroom tap dancer a second chance.
