Your claim was that it would be extraordinary if the combination of homicide and accident deaths exceeded suicide deaths. Its not extraordinary at all since accidental deaths alone exceed suicide.

As for "the difference in accident rates exceeds that of the difference between suicide and homicides rates."

For a number of these countries the suicide and homicide rate combined are lower than the same rates for the US, you don't even have to add in the accident rate.

That isn't the case for Japan, and maybe even adding in the higher accident rate isn't enough to make up the difference in life expectancy, but Japan is different in many other ways, and Japanese Americans have similar lifespans to the people in Japan.
