Obama gave an interview on Iowa's public television station led by Yepsen and at 13:30 he's asked why he thinks he's more appealing to crossover Independent and Republican voters than the other dem challengers. His response sealed for me why I support his candidacy: "I don't assume Republicans are bad. I don't assume Democrats are always virtuous, I don't think we have a monopoly on wisdom. That non-ideologic approach to politics....of sitting down, getting things done...." One can disagree with him on the specific issues but one cannot find another D in the field that is free of the grudges and resentments that have plagued and paralyzed both parties for decades..and have led to the Reids and Pelosis that we have today.. iptv.org
