The realocation of resources after the end of the Cold War, from defense and protectionism to commerce and putting 2.5 billion people in the the world economy would blow the socks of any trend line.

It is becoming hard and harder for people to comprehend the scale. If one think about the G-7 as the premier economies and a couple of tiny power nations of the post war period.

It is the scale of that needs to be grasped.

Think it as 1.000 Marshall Plans kicked into action.
