..the black vote is secure. She needs the hispanic vote which is Richardson. Her support of the NY driver's license for illegals demonstrates their strategy of pursuing the hispanic vote. Good analysis.

Your reasoning sounds good. Many people have auditioned for vp who stood little chance of getting it. The Hispanic vote will certainly be fought over as the Reps will make a fight for it, even though their share of it has traditionally been limited to the Cubans.
