Seems to me that interference in education is a pretty good model. Deterioration will be gradual and will generally be accepted as just the way things are.

I'm afraid its already started. I understand effective 1/1/08 Medicare is cutting Physicians payments another 10%. As a result, at least down here in S. Fla. where so many retirees live, more and more doctors are refusing to take on anymore Medicare patients. jdn
