A flax tax won't happen, too much lobby monies to congress. the same reason term limits won't happen.

Anyway, if you did get a flax tax they will get rid of all deductions. Then in a few years they will say, it's not fair so if you are in this income bracket you pay the flat tax plus this %. After a couple of years will will be back to the same tax brackets as today, with an added 15% flat tax and no deductions
