You didn't do anything but point at the numbers and claim it proved your thesis. I not only provided the raw numbers, but compared them to so that they didn't support your thesis about them being the reason for our lower life expectancy. All you have done is wave your hands.

No. My argument is that the homicide rate is insignificant compared to the others.

No. There are many other countries with a significantly higher suicide rate than the US. As I pointed out. Germany and many of the Nordic countries have a significantly higher suicide rate, the same or higher accident rate and the homicide rate, while lower, doesn't really change the figures except maybe by 1 or 2 per 100k population. So why is their average life expectancy so much higher?

Tim, stop prattling about Japan. It wasn't my only example. I understand that it is the only one you can really poke holes in, but...
