Are you so gullible and naive as to swallow all that propaganda! Do you recall a time when the uS military announced with much fanfare they adopted a new tactic which won them much support. That tactic was fraternising with the local Iraqis, learning their language and giving candy to their kids to show what nicey guys American troops are. What happened? Iraqis continued to kill American troops with no let up. And one huge Iraqi success was virtual demolition of an American base by means of relentless rocket and mortar fire. Did the US propaganda machine tell you much about that attack? Guess you never heard about it. Petraeus said the SURGE is working. As evidence he cited the reduced number of US casualties. The TRUTH is that American forces are now resorting to SEARCH AND AVOID tactics. LOL! That is, going out of camp ostensibly looking for the enemy but actually AVOIDING them by going into safe zones and radioing back hourly dishonest reports about their ongoing search for the enemy. To be sure, this is going to prolong the Iraq Occupation which, after all, is the aim of this US Admin. LOL! .
