Ronnie was pres the day after WW2 ended. This is silly talk Ruff. US soldiers had to come home after WW2. And dont forget during the war, russians were portrayed as our allies and Uncle Joe wasnt so bad. Propaganda works both ways. Should the US have fought for Eastern Europe? How many more millions would have died. How many more nukes would have been used. How would have our forces responded to the russian fighting force aremed to the teeth with US weaponry. There was a vacuum there in EE. Best US could do is make the border as far east as we could. We got up to half of germany and berlin and in the late 40s were able to fend off advances in greece and that area. Ronnie would have done exactly what Harry did.
