I was asking whether you can confirm your "I think you should buy the good stuff now" by some numbers.

ET flow shows major buying is occurring under the superficial general price weakness. In your terms the market got too exuberant and too pricey especially in all these commodity stocks. When the price leaders are subjected to profit taking the whole list gets its comeuppance.

The question to ask is whether there's anything, a general group, that's being distributed underneath the general market appearances. By distribution I mean basically selling that has been occurring on rising price. According to ET flow, yes, there is. Commodity stocks like gold and oil. They're major sells. Right now. They have been distributed for many, many months.

However, one can't get too carried away with these generalities. There are energy plays where that isn't the case. Quite the opposite, and I don't mean necessarily in solar. Even solar has its good ones and bad.
