New offices in Kenya and Tanzania to provide additional support for the region

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Nov. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Stratex Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSTX - News), the leading independent supplier of turnkey wireless transmission solutions, today announced plans to expand its operations in East Africa, adding sales and engineering support in its Kenya facility and a new office in Tanzania.

As telecommunications suppliers in Kenya, Tanzania and throughout East Africa build next-generation networks, they require the most advanced and comprehensive wireless transmission solutions available. Harris Stratex Networks provides three best-in-class solutions -- TRuepoint® and Eclipse(TM) microwave radio systems and NetBoss® integrated network management for monitoring and management of network elements or across the entire enterprise. The Kenya and Tanzania offices will include program management, network engineering, customer service and sales staff to better support customers implementing these solutions in the region.
