Right.

But, he never really wanted *this one* (maybe 'cause it was a tax that increasingly hit the middle class... maybe 'cause he needed the revenues from it to help disguise how large the deficits were becoming... and that's why ALL of his budgets included it --- and even his administration's budget 'projections' out YEARS into the future assume the steady and rising bite of the AMT.)
