I think maybe we here do that, but I don't think everyone does that. Isn't that why some people are so unhappy? Because for some reason or other they can't find a way of thinking that fits both their desires and their mind- and that is compatible with both? It seems to me that people who import systems of thought (especially via religion) have more trouble with this than people who build their own constructs and don't import highly structured systems that are not ultimately biocompatible. To use an analogy, it's the difference between a handtailored garment, and one off the rack. That one off the rack just isn't likely to fit you perfectly.
