The bags are the cheapest way to own physical; others whose opinions I value remind me that bags allow you to own in smaller denominations in the event that barter use were ever necessary. "Rounds" are an interim price option between the official, US Mint coins (Eagles) and bags. Bars would be cheaper as well, but I've never owned any.

American Precious Metals, Tulving.com and other general dealers would carry all such products. I've been pleased with Apmex, others have spoken highly of Tulving.

Frankly, I get a kick out of holding and looking at the Eagles; it may sound goofy, but that factors into the equation as well.
