Also, Management is presenting as the only mining company featured as an emerging growth company at a conference in New York tomorrow attended by numerous investment professionals: biz.yahoo.com I don't think many were expecting news in October, but some here did discuss that and here was my reply: Message 23978764 Some projects take much longer to get to where MMG's zinc project is, especially those that are of world class size, and I think the time to develop projects is getting longer because of the shortage of qualified 3rd parties' time, which should help prolong the metals bull market. This morning, jack102son mentioned Baja's Boleo copper project, which has been in the works since 1992. The San Cristobal project was started in 1996. Drilling started on the Mehdiabad project in the 1960's and a pre-feasibility study was done in 1993 -- who knows if or when that one will ever go to production. Even Yukon Zinc's relatively small Wolverine project started in 1995. Merlin's not the one doing the work on the project -- it's GTI that's doing the feasibility study, with other contractors responsible for various parts. In any case, he's in excellent health and much younger than his years -- his preferred method for getting around properties is his motorcycle. I believe there are a couple of possibilities to replace Merlin if anything happens, but I'm not sure what the succession plan is.
