Higher home values in dollars also means higher property taxes in dollars for the homeowner... many are already selling because they can't pay those taxes, I see this happening right now in nearby Palm Beach...

The dollar is devalued only when compared to other currencies, so how would a local U.S. home owner notice any difference at all unless he compares his home value with homes in other countries? And then he would find his home worth less, not more, because of the weaker dollar... TIA
