Tribalism is not really natural. That's why people are ditching it by the million. Tribalism is good for chimps and their close relatives. Some of us have moved past that.

The other 'isms' have grown over the millennia so that now there are over a billion people in China and India - that's not a tribe. There are now billions who live in an integrated way with people from around the planet. That's not tribal.
