Commercialization of the Xcentia/Maxam process can NOT be disclosed
to Maxam's shareholders by Maxam because of Xcentia refusal to inform
Maxam Gold of their activity since March of 2006.

"... the Xcentia/Maxam laboratory [became] fully operational on Nov. 30, 2005.
... [successfully performed] metal leaching /metal extraction test sequences
on representative coal ash samples. This testing [accomplished] lab prove-out
for coal ash [and] provided baseline results for the two interested companies;
one a large U.S. metals producer and the other a large U.S. power producer.
The [next] phase [a] test program for gold ore and precious metal samples provided
[by] mining companies interested in using the Xcentia/Maxam extraction process."

Maxam and Xcentia Companies Expand Patent Applications
maxamgoldcorp.com
"... working with the original Maxam extraction technology [Xcentia] identified
two additional areas that qualify for additional patents. One patent application
has been submitted and the other is in final review."

Reference; From: paunch13
"... [Maxam] can [NOT] write a PR [about activity at] Xcentia [until] Xcentia
write it and send it to Maxam. John"

Conclusion: Something very wrong with Maxam Gold Corp.
