If you are in retirement or approaching retirement, you are likely to find stagnation there also as more of the income is directed to insurance.

Long Term Care Insurance

Regular Health Insurance

Dental Insurance

Insurance to pay for medication (drugs)

Hospitalization Insurance

Social Security Recipients pay Medicare Insurance and need separate insurance to cover prescriptions either via Medicare or a separate entity

Cancer Insurance

Life Insurance - of various kinds

Short-term-Insurance

Fire Insurance on home or apartment

Disaster Insurance

Car Insurance

Liability Insurance if you volunteer

Many of the treatments that can help avoid medications are not covered by insurance companies----such as acupuncture and chiropracters as they are not considered 'mainstream'.

People are put through multiple tests because of guidelines saying the doctor does A before doing B. e.g. Take an x-ray, then go to a scan and then to the next level----with each step requiring payment not to mention the time and the stress that the patient undergoes.

I do not favor Socialized Medicine controlled by the nanny government however recognize that there need to be changes
to help people live without stress over paying for numerous insurance and the taxes that the government takes at all levels.

No need to respond to this crap-----I am just venting.
