BTW, I've read it wasn't the 2 bombs that made Japan surrender; it was Russia entering that war.

BTW, I've read that Roosevelt attacked Pearl Harbor.

was a combo but left exaggerates the russian factor to justify FDR and Stalin which right attacks. Without the a-bomb we might still be fighting. Dont you remeember when you were a kid about 10 years post WW2, they were still finding emaciated japanese soldiers in caves who hadnt heard war was over. Some were still shooting at us.
Everytime we think we are getting grief in wars today, we should remember the fanaticism of the japs and the efficiency of the krauts. And of course we werent PC back then so we could say what we wanted. What do you think germans and japanese would have done to an al quada threat. Bin baby would he history and so would most moslems who got in the crossfire.
