Well my thought process has gotten me in trouble here and there. Best example I can remember is some years back getting involved with separating a couple of drunks going at each other. Upon restoring some order the bigger of the two pushed me back and said he was going to kick my ass which instantly put me in the all out frontal attack mode figuring if I'm going to get mine kicked I might just as well get a punch or 2 in. This had the effect of costing me several hundred dollars and causing a good share of the folks in the bar to think I was insane since I reacted so violently to just a remark:)
