To mollify their critics, Democrats have pledged to continue to push for a change of course in Iraq. They plan to vote this week on a $50 billion war-funding bill that mandates troop withdrawals. The measure is expected to do no better than previous attempts, which have either died in the Senate or been vetoed by Bush.

I think the Dems may be starting to get it.........they are finally taking off the gloves and putting real pressure on the GOP. They want to force the GOP to filibuster against the Dem bill. It can't stop Bush's veto but it can make things even more miserable for the GOP. Things are getting very dangerous and Congress is the only hope right now. Its clear the GOP has to be crushed.......badly.
